While many pieces find a second home, a portion of unsellable clothing can end up in opaque aftermarket spaces, with some ending up in landfills or burn fields. Jennifer Lake, President and CEO of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, has spent years sitting with that reality. Now, through a pioneering partnership with materials regeneration company, Reju, she's working to set up a new circular solution that could turn unsellable polyester items into new material for the textile industry.
