Day 5 and he still alive ❤️

Update: Day 5 After Surgery 🩺🐟 Our albino marble tiger shovelnose is doing so much better after the surgery! He’s no longer floating upside down, and he’s already eating again — which is a huge sign he’s recovering strong ❤️🔥 When we have more time, we’ll break down what caused him to swell up and float, why the needle didn’t work in his case, and why we made the decision to cut him open. PS: For everyone saying “just use a needle, it’s less invasive, it works,” trust me… we tried everything — and when I say everything, I mean everything. ✅ Medicine ✅ Epsom salt baths ✅ Peas ✅ Venting with a needle/syringe …and we did it for a whole month, and nothing worked. We genuinely believe we figured out why, and we’re going to make a full video explaining it to hopefully help anyone dealing with the same issue. I’ll say this: this is the first time venting with a needle didn’t work for us… and I’ll leave you a hint — the air wasn’t in the swim bladder.
