FINALLY! A bill to stop the political $$$ flowing to influencers...sort of...

I don't know about you, but I think it is TOTALLY REASONABLE and ethical for creators, influencers, journalists to DISCLOSE if they are paid by PACs or candidates...or if funds from PACs is used to "mentor" them in specific talking points and shapes their opinion on various policies and issues. DISCLOSURE is not difficult, and it's how we maintain integrity with our audience. Call Congress and ask them to pass Rep. As written, the PAID Act wouldn't require disclosure from "mentoring" programs funded by dark $$ and Super PACs, only PACs and candidates.
