INGREDIENTS
Cover Dough:
- 1 & 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour/Maida
- Salt
- 1 Tsp Oil
Filling:
- 300 gm Cabbage
- 1 Medium Onion
- 1 Tsp Ginger
- 1/4 Tsp MSG (Optional)
- Salt
Chilli Oil:
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1 Tsp Garlic
- 1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
- 1/4 Tsp Chilli Powder
- Salt
METHOD
- Take all purpose flour, add salt and mix well. Add water and make a medium soft dough. Cover and rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Finely chop cabbage and add chopped onion, ginger, MSG and salt. Mix till well combined.
- Heat oil and add finely chopped garlic. Fry the garlic till it becomes slightly golden. Turn off the heat and add chilli flakes and mix well. Add chilli powder and salt. Mix well. The chilli oil is ready.
- Divide the dough into small portions and roll into thin sheets same as the diameter of the bowl you will use for steaming.
- Take a bowl and place some stuffing and add a dough sheet. Place stuffing and add dough sheet. Add another layer of stuffing followed by a final layer to dough sheet. Prepare all bowls the same way.
- Steam these in a steamer for 20-25 minutes on medium-high flame.
- Pour some chilli oil on each bowl and garnish with coriander. Serve with soy sauce or momo chutney and enjoy!
