I need to build a proper setup for this device so it can be used more often. I have a tiny one that I use in the house, but obviously not this one! How it works, and what you are seeing is this: Since all grain has a certain amount of moisture, if it is heated in a sealed container some of it will leave the kernel creating steam. BUT since it is in a sealed container, it creates pressure. With enough grain in the device, each kernel loses some moisture to steam and being now in a pressurized vessel the remaining moisture turns in internal water vapor (essentially plasma). When the right pressure is reached, you open the device which instantly de-pressures the device and all the kernels expand.
