Raising Ringo in the US was a constant struggle against "receipt phobia"—$70 just for an exam, and $500 bills after added tests, with weeks of waiting for an appointment. Since moving to Korea, everything has changed! Now, 24-hour hospitals are everywhere, and we can often book appointments a day in advance or even walk in at 2 AM. The convenience is unbeatable, with 24-hour unmanned pet shops on every corner and super-fast, next-morning deliveries. Of course, the US still has its perks, especially with the massive variety of affordable, trustworthy food and supplements.
