Description

Hey everyone, In today's video I experience heli biking for the very first time with the amazing crew at HeliBike NZ in Queenstown, New Zealand. Kristian and I went on their Peak Vert ride — an absolutely massive backcountry MTB adventure featuring around 2450m of vertical descent over 23km of riding through some of the most incredible trails Queenstown has to offer. The day starts high above Queenstown before dropping into Dirt Serpent on Coronet Peak, descending deep into Skippers Canyon, and then jumping in a helicopter with our bikes and heading to the top of Bowen Peak. Having grown up watching MTB movies such as New World Disorder with riders being dropped if in the mountains by helicopters it was pretty unreal to experience it ourselves! The conditions could not have been better, the views were next level, and riding nearly 2500m of vertical in a single day made this one of the most incredible mountain bike experiences I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to the team at HeliBike NZ for an unforgettable adventure and our guides Fraser and Dave! If you enjoyed the video, make sure to like and subscribe — plenty more MTB adventures coming soon!
