It lies in the Costa del Sol, Andalucía, south of Spain. Just a short walk from the city’s historical center, Málaga port offers a beautiful promenade lined with shops, restaurants and bars. There you can also find a local market selling different goods, handmade products and clothing. You can definitely enjoy the best of open-air shopping as you idly watch cruise liners come and go. Different cafes and chill out bars can be found at Palmeral de las Sorpresas, the Pérgola de la Victoria is also located there. It can be easily seen due to its amazing awning structure with zig-zag style. It is in this area where most of the cruise ships dock. The Chapel of Muelle Uno, an 18th-century Baroque church, was constructed from sandstone from a nearby quarry. And as you continue along the marina, Muelle Uno extends to La Farola, the 38-metre-high 19th-century lighthouse of Málaga.
