Description

I'm working on my Larch (Larix laricina) Forest to get it ready for spring. In part 2, I'm winter pruning the trees, removing and trimming up branches. The Tamarack (Larix laricina), is a unique coniferous tree native to Canada and the northeastern United States that loses its needles in the fall. It is known for its bright green, soft needles that turn a brilliant golden yellow in fall. It thrives in wet, boggy areas (muskeg).
