The 2026 Royal Cam chick has hatched! 🐣 After spending four days in the incubator, the new Royal Cam star for the 2026 season has hatch on the 22nd on January, weighing in at 288g - a little bit less than a soda can. The newest Pukekura/ Taiaroa Head arrival will have a health check and be weighed twice a day for the first five days then once a day for the following five days before moving to weekly weighing.
