The US President has also begun to threaten an armed invasion of Kharg Island, in an attempt to put pressure on the Iranian government. US officials have stated that Kharg Island could be taken as soon as next weekend as enough forces will be in the area by that time. The price of oil continues to rise, with some financial experts now forecasting $200 per barrel of oil prices.
