Charles Xavier aka Professor X is one of the world's most powerful telepaths and famous X-Men. Xavier is a mutant born with a unique X-Gene in his DNA that gave him the ability to read minds, project his thoughts, and control others. He wanted society to see how mutants are just like any other human, so searched the world for other mutants to help his mission. Professor X created Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, containing the Danger Room training area and Cerebro. From there, he formed the X-Men, a team of his best students including super heroes like Cyclops, Beast, and later Wolverine. Together the X-Men go up against mutant villains who use their powers for evil like Magneto, Apocalypse, Sentinels, and more.
