Thousands of flights cancelled as the war in the Middle East cripples international travel

It's been nearly a week since the United States and Israel launched a strike against Iran - since then, the crisis has widened, with more strikes, a rising death toll, and calls from President Trump for "unconditional surrender" from Iran. The unfolding war has also impacted international travel, with some 14,000 flights cancelled out of the Middle East since last week. That crisis one of many stories out of the travel world, alongside travel advisories for Mexico amid cartel violence and ahead of spring break, and new airspace restrictions at LAX that could impact local law enforcements abilities to track crimes.
