Government migration reforms 'callous and inept' | BBC Politics Live

Under the plans, ministers want to double the time it takes most migrant workers to qualify for permanent residence from five years to 10 years. Grant said he would be “starting back at zero” and would have to consider moving back to the United States, while claiming the government is "callous" and "inept".
