Railfanning Odds-and-Sods from January 2026 (HD)

I didn't film enough KiwiRail trains in Tauranga for a local railfanning compilation this month, so instead, here are the catches made during my travels throughout the central and lower North Island. Most of these catches were on the North Island Main Trunk, with another two just north of Tokoroa (on the Kinleith Branch) and only three in my local area. Things to look out for include Ballast Cleaner ETM 567 (towed through Raurimu), two DLs stopping in Taumarunui for a crew change and DFB 7282 stopping at Otorohanga with the Northern Explorer tourist train. #railway #newzealand #newzealandtourism #kiwirail #scenicrailway #narrowgauge #freighttrain #diesellocomotive #trainspotting
