This Is What It Takes to Start a Jagdpanther

We were invited to visit The Weald Foundation to see something very few people ever get the chance to experience — a real, running WWII German tank destroyer. This vehicle is a Jagdpanther, one of the rarest surviving armoured fighting vehicles from the Second World War. Restored from a range wreck into a fully operational machine, the team showed us how it actually starts, how it drives, and what it’s really like inside the crew compartment. In this video we take a close look around the vehicle, explore the interior, and watch the full start-up procedure of a 70-year-old tank destroyer brought back to life.
