Prabal Pratap, who had approached the Supreme Court challenging an Allahabad High Court verdict and was arguing his own case, allegedly behaved in an abusive and aggressive manner before the Bench. He reportedly tried to issue directions to the judges, declared himself "sovereign," threw legal documents toward the Bench, and allegedly used abusive language against the Chief Justice of India. As the situation escalated, security personnel escorted him out of the courtroom. Despite the disruption, the Supreme Court exercised restraint, chose not to initiate immediate punitive action, and simply dismissed his Special Leave Petition (SLP).
