European cities record temperatures above 40°C

Parts of Europe have seen temperatures exceed 40°C as a heatwave grips the continent. It has seen a number of European countries cancel public transport and outdoor events, restrict public drinking, and close schools to reduce the impact of the heat. Climate campaigner Fanny Petitbon weighs in.
