Description
When someone tells me I shouldn’t talk politics on my page, all I hear is a demand to protect the status quo.
We have a real problem with a “right to comfort” in this country - where speaking out against genocide is somehow more offensive than the genocide itself.
If my words make you uncomfortable, that’s a sign that you should be paying attention to.
Discomfort is a crack in the logic you may have been taught to accept without question - try facing your discomfort instead of running from it.
Ask questions about why you feel that way, and see where it leads you.
On October 7, colonized people exercised their internationally recognized right to rebel against the Israeli occupation that has been unimaginably oppressing and abusing them for decades. I do not condemn that.
I support Indigenous self-determination and the right to resist foreign domination and apartheid.
I stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom.
Until we’re all free 🇵🇸
