After Donald Trump's executive orders banned citizens from certain countries from entering the USA, that law has now impacted the greatest show on earth as a Somalian referee has been banned from entering, despite having what he thought was a valid visa. Miguel Delaney, a highly respected sports writer, says that Russia was more welcoming than the States, and that it will be interesting to see how Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, plays down the issues when he makes his speech to open the tournament on Wednesday.
