INCREDIBLE SURVIVAL HUT! Snowshoeing to the 2 Highest Huts in Oz', Cootapatamba and Seaman's Hut.

G'day all! Another SENSATIONAL day in the mountains. Today was a good one, a snowshoe hike to the 2 highest mountain huts in Oz': Seamans Hut and Cootapatamba hut. At 2030m high, Seamans Hut, the highest hut in Oz' is a hut i've been to multiple times already, and has featured on the channel already. But this is the first time i've visited in winter, surrounded by snow. A fantastic, and brilliantly maintained hut, its become one of the most iconic sites of Kosciuszko. The second hut, at 1930m, and the second highest hut in Oz', Cootapatamba Hut. This was my first time at this hut and has been on my list for a very long time now. It has very quickly made its up way to my top 5 favorite huts. Its not hard to see why. An incredible emergency survival shelter, nestled in the beautiful valley of the Swampy Plain river, with a Mount Kosciuszko Backdrop. Definitely one of the coolest places in the National Park. And a place that i'll most CERTAINLY be coming back to. Even though i took my board with me, there wasent much snowboarding done at all because i again tried to pack too much into a single day. But, all in all, it ended up being another FANTASTIC day. Enjoy!
