I tried making homemade instant ramen from scratch...including baking my own kansui, using a tofu press, dehydrating overnight, and even steaming and frying the noodles like the factories do. One method genuinely surprised me… and the other turned into something oddly squid-like.
In this video, I test two different ways to make instant noodles at home to see if they can actually beat a cheap supermarket packet. Is it worth the effort? Or is convenience king?
