A devastating fire at a popular pub in Bangkok, Thailand, claimed the lives of at least 27 people and injured 63 others late on Sunday night, making it one of the country's deadliest pub fire incidents in recent years. The blaze broke out at around 11:57 p.m. at the Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao pub in Bangkok's Chatuchak district. According to survivor accounts shared by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, the venue quickly filled with thick smoke after the fire started near the front stage, causing panic among patrons. Many people rushed toward the back of the pub near the bathrooms in search of an exit but found no fire escape routes, leaving them trapped. By the time rescue workers reached the scene, the fire had already engulfed much of the venue. Bangkok officials said all 63 injured victims were hospitalised, with 22 reported to be in critical condition.
