Macquarie Island is one of the cloudiest places on Earth

Macquarie island received rainfall an average of 317 days of the year. Nicknamed the green sponge, it is one of the cloudiest places on earth. But it’s one of the lost spectacular places for wildlife sightings with four species of penguin, several seal species and an abundance of seabirds. It was one of my favourite places on my recent expedition with @aurora_expeditions
