Mum magpie drops by for a dip - Australian birds

Just a quickie - I saw Mum in the birdbath and as the camera wasn't set up, I went out and got sorted for her second visit. She was in the tub when I arrived and didn't mind my setting the camera up - it's just that the wind noise was terrible so I couldn't use the footage. I had a lav mic set up with a dead cat and hoped it would be good audio. Unfortunately the GoPro decided to use it's own mic and the wind noise was terrible at times. I can't get the GoPro to work with third party mics. It's driving me nuts. I want better audio, I have better audio equipment but it's just not working. I'll persevere. Cheers folks!
