Civilization 7 is set to receive it's final major patch update for 2025, update 1.3.1 - Shattered Seas! Today we'll talk the bigger changes that Firaxis teased in their December Developer's Update 2025. Highlighted changes include the strategic balance pass uplifting Rome and sending Egypt back down to earth. Then, a new map called Shattered Seas. And thirdly, broader changes to coastlines on the minimap and biome reworks to make map biomes seem more natural, and more responsive to the hydrological cycle.
