ADAC Racing Weekend 2025 Hockenheimring I Crash & Mistake

The Porsche Sports Cup is making its debut at the ADAC Racing Weekend, marking a significant milestone for motorsport enthusiasts. The event, held at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg on May 3-4, 2025, featured three Porsche racing series: the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3, Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4, and Porsche Endurance Challenge. Additionally, the long-standing Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy (STT) and the Tourenwagen & GT Revival were part of the racing lineup. The Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4 allows Porsche Cayman GT4 models from various years, with 20 drivers participating, including competitors from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Denmark, and the USA. The Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3 features GT3-class Porsche race cars, with an international lineup of drivers from Germany, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, and the UAE. Jakub Twaróg, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, is the only racer benefiting from the Porsche Talent Pool program1. The Porsche Endurance Challenge consists of a 60-minute race plus one lap, where GT3 and GT4 cars compete. A mandatory pit stop allows for driver changes. The STT boasts the largest grid of the weekend, celebrating its 40th anniversary with 30 cars, including Chevrolet Corvette C7 GT3-R and Donkervoort D8R models, and the BMW M6 and Z4 GT3.
