Rachel and Tross survived panleukopenia, and we CAN'T WAIT to reunite them, along with their sister, Miss Meowy! Fall in love on our livestreams: TinyKittens.com/live HUGE thanks to Ellyse, the amazing founder of @felix_and_fido_nursing, who came out to HQ today to give them fashionable (and necessary) lion cuts! At-home vet tech services are a terrific way to minimize stress and maximize health, and it was so wonderful to be able to have this done at HQ. ❤️ The goal of the lion cuts was to reduce the quantity of infectious virus particles trapped in their floof, since the feline panleukopenia virus is incredibly robust and survives for as long as one year. Now that floof reduction is complete, the next steps will be a deep clean of the dot room, the vestibule (Rachel's room), and the hallway, and careful baths for Tross and Rachel.
