Winter Cricket Mayhem! (First match of the season)

Hi guys, our winter cricket season recently began in Brisbane. Winter cricket (in the warehouse competition) probably isn’t as high level as grade cricket in the summer but still a lot of fun to play! Here’s the highlights from our first match of season the season v WPC, played at Eddie Gilbert oval Wacol. (Fun fact I’m kinda related to Eddie Gilbert actually, my Dad had an indigenous foster brother growing up who was Eddie Gilbert’s great grandson. So not through blood but sort of through family connection 😅) Don Bradman said Eddie Gilbert was the fastest bowler he ever faced in his career. Anyway, hope you enjoy the match. I wasn’t able to do much im quite injured atm and can’t bowl or over arm throw in the field so quite restricted to only batting and slip fielding for this game.
