They touted the Move On order as a “law and order” announcement on the weekend, those who work with communities and rough sleepers call it cruel and callous. The data from overseas tells us it will exacerbate issues, put rough sleepers in more harm and cause a higher chance of creating inescapable poverty traps and increases criminal activity, the research on fixing this shows the coalition have made it all worse at every step.
