More choice, more of everything! || 2026 Toyota BZ Woodland Review

This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2026 Toyota bZ and bZ Woodland full-electric crossovers. The bZ has both FWD and AWD options. FWD models have a 57.7 kWh battery with 380 km/236 miles of range and 168 horsepower. AWD models have a 74.7 kWh battery with up to 468 km/288 miles of range and 338 horsepower. In the US, the FWD model is also offered with the larger battery, it gets 221 horsepower and 314 miles of range. Here are the details on the bZ Woodland model. It has a 74.7 kWh battery with up to 452 km/281 miles of range, 375 horsepower and standard AWD. The Woodland with the optional all-terrain tires will get a little less range. This EV can tow 3500 pounds. The Toyota bZ receives a new name, more range, more power and charging performance. Plus there’s the bZ Woodland if you want a little more space and a rugged design. AWD bZ models have X-mode with snow/dirt, deep snow/mud and grip control modes. The Toyota bZ receives changes to the exterior and interior with an updated front fascia, lighting elements, slimmer LED daytime running lights and colour matched moulding. The Woodland trim has a more rugged design and it’s bigger, 5.5” longer, almost an inch extra additional height in the rear and greater ground clearance compared to the bZ. The Toyota bZ and Woodland have an 11-kW on-board charger and are capable of speeds up to 150 kW. They are equipped with the North American charging system charge port. With a DC Fast charger they will go from 10-80% in about 30 minutes. In Canada, the bZ XLE FWD/AWD models start at $45,990/$53,390, Limited AWD $61,690, Woodland $59,900, Woodland Premium $64,900, Woodland Premium w/all-terrain tires $64,900.
