Getting to the start line for our BOATS 21st Anniversary Tour 2026. We’re stoked to welcome aboard Freddy’s new rhythm section, Cory Champion on drums and Johnny Lawrence on bass. We’ve been rehearsing BOATS and sharing kai at our inner city studio to hit the ground running for Freddy’s return to the stage. Cory and Johnny are part of our extended Freddy’s whānau and brotherhood. MU loved recording the bros in the studio, both jammed on the SLO MO album, and we know he approves of their selection for our BOATS soul food touring team.
