So check out the video of a no onion no garlic Matar Paneer in 10 minutes and let me know in the comments how you liked it! @EmamiHealthyTasty Matar Paneer Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: 200g Paneer 1 cup paneer ½ cup tomato Puree 20 cashew nuts 2 tbsp oil ½ tsp cumin seeds 2 bay leaves 1 cinnamon stick 4-5 green cardamoms 3-4 cloves 1 black cardamom ½ mace flower 2” ginger 3 green chilies Salt to taste 2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala ½ tsp sugar 2 tbsp cream (optional) 1 tsp Kasuri methi Oil to fry Method: Put 2” oil in a pan to heat. Cut paneer into cubes. Grind the cashew nuts with ½ cup water to a smooth paste.Put paneer pieces in the pan to fry. Mix powdered spices in a bowl with ½ cup water and mix well. Finely chop ginger and green chilies. Remove fried paneer pieces to a bowl of water. This will keep them soft and prevent them from turning chewy and rubbery. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. add the whole spices. Allow to splutter. Add the chopped ginger and chillies. Cook for a minute to turn fragrant. Add spice paste and mix well. Add cashew paste and mix well. Add tomato puree, 1 cup water, peas, paneer, salt to taste, sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
