Trump ‘not a friend’ to Quebec, premier says, while praising Mark Carney’s Davos speech

On Wednesday in Quebec City, Quebec Premier François Legault complimented Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for saying “the right things” Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Legault conceded that despite his numerous pleas for discussions to get moving on renegotiating the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement on trade, that does not seem to be in the cards.
