These are marine worms with the fan/feather like part used for feeding and respirating!

During our snorkel excursions we explore many different ecosystems. Kelp forests, seagrass beds, rocky reefs or sandy flats. Each has its own composition of species many of which are weird and wonderful. The fan like creatures in this video are Peacock Worms. They look like mini trees waving around in the current. However it’s actually a tube they live in, with the feather like fan used to catch food and respirate. There can be present over wide areas of seabed with and quite spectacular too see them.
