A planned demolition of a tower block in Edinburgh has been delayed after one remaining tenant refused to leave the building during ongoing eviction proceedings. Edinburgh Council said the sole occupier of Inchmickery Court in Muirhouse has remained in the block since November 2023 while court action continues. The tower block, alongside neighbouring Oxcars Court, is due to be demolished and replaced with new housing as part of a redevelopment plan approved in 2023.
