Japanese Friendship Garden Walking Tour

Today we’re visiting the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum here in Balboa Park in San Diego, CA. The garden celebrates the friendship between San Diego and its sister city Yokohama in Japan. It first opened to the public in 1991, and it’s one of those places that feels peaceful the moment you walk in. The garden covers about 10 acres, so there’s plenty of space to explore as a family and just wander through at your own pace. While we’re here, we’re excited to see the koi collection, check out the beautiful plants throughout the garden, and of course visit the Bonsai Garden.
