Description

This Christmas, we've turned trash into treasure with our partners Westmorland Family, Roadchef, Shap Primary School and Castlefell School. Children from both schools kindly made Christmas decorations using everyday pieces of litter, creating squirrels, owls, foxes and hedgehogs amongst other things. They're helping us to spread the message that litter should be binned to save our wildlife and keep our green spaces clean. Not only is it unsightly, it puts our road workers at risk when they collect it. Keep an eye out for the festive litter-turned-glitter if you're visiting Tebay, Gloucester, Sedgemoor, Durham or Watford Gap services!
