Notes: * The 1936 logo comes from Logopedia. * If you'd like to know where a certain video comes from, check the credits. * This video will not include EVERY single variant. That isn't merely the intention of this timeline. So any comments saying "yOu fOrGoT tHaT" WILL be removed. * The sign-off from the early 90's was apparently used LATER than the 2000s, possibly as late as 2010, so ignore the bit saying it was used until the 2000s because that was just guessing on my part. * The 1992 ident, in some stations, was used as late as 2001. And, some stations didn't use the 1997 ident until 1998. This ident was also used in some other stations one year after the introduction of the 2001-06 ident. The same situation applies to CBC's ident from 1986. Stations would use both the new and old idents, mainly using the old one for sign-offs. Massive thanks to everyone for their patience! Founded on 2nd November 1936, it operates as a Crown corporation, with its English and French-language services known as CBC and Radio-Canada, respectively. While some local stations in Canada predate its founding, CBC is the oldest continuously operating broadcasting network in the country. It launched its television service on 6th September 1952. This video was released for non-commercial, educational, and historical purposes only.
