And now, lunging the big guys...

Mel, our Welsh Pony, also suffered a bout of laminitis a couple of years back. It's safe to say she is well over it! We were not sure if she was ever going to stop running... Mel is 23 years old and spent her first 19 years as schoolie, teaching little kids how to ride. She has been with us since the beginning of Covid and suffice to say she is enjoying her much deserved retirement! Her life now consists of hanging out in the forest, paddock or barn with Sven, Molly and our pack of rescue dogs. Our two cats Bob and Higgins also make an occasional appearance. Our property is fenced in so the horses - and dogs - enjoy free range on our little farm to come and go as they please, on their own schedules living their best lives.
