Why are Digital Circus Fans UPSET about the Episode 9 Merch?

Did you know this in the amazing digital circus? Recently glitch productions decided to re release some movie exclusive merch, upsetting alot of fans. What’s going on? Let me explain So one of the perks of seeing the last act in cinemas was you get early access to the episode 9 merch drop before it comes out for everyone on june 19th. One of the main items though was the last act bundle. It includes 3 movie exclusive items being a print, poster, badge and pomni popcorn bucket. As the description states, they’re only available until june 19th. On the pomni popcorn bucket for example it says Get her before she runs away forever! On June 19th however Hot Topic just started selling the pomni popcorn bucket. It doesn’t mention the movie at all, so it’s likely they’ll sell it forever. The bucket is even slightly more expensive than the one off the glitch store. This understandably upset alot of fans, they paid for a movie exclusive item which is now being sold in retailers. Personally i’m with the fans here, glitch messed up. The wording is at best confusing, and at worst scummy. It’s also screwed over people who bought it from glitch, since it’ll ship out between august and september. Meanwhile you could just walk into hot topic right now and buy one. They also probably should’ve released the popcorn bucket before the movie debuted in the first place, it was a little odd to have an ad for a popcorn bucket at the end of a movie.
