Inside foie gras farms, ducks and geese hide in corners, huddle in fear, and try to escape before long metal tubes force massive amounts of food down their throats multiple times a day, causing their livers to swell far beyond what their bodies can bear. Photojournalist and investigator Rebecca Loviconi with For the Animals filmed at these farms across France, the world’s largest producer of foie gras, so the world can see what happens to these birds. As the holidays approach, more animals are pushed into this cycle.
