McLaren’s Lando Norris has dismissed suggestions his Singapore start was “aggressive”, even though he made contact with his teammate Oscar Piastri and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Norris got a great start, and rocketed from fifth on the grid to third by turn three, but frustrated Piastri - who asked the team over the radio whether it was cool with him being barged out of the way. But, neither the race director nor the team took exception, with Norris admitting he was just managing the conditions.
