Seven friends, each embodying one of the deadly sins, are drawn into a cult, seeking personal growth. Unaware of its true nature, they find their darkest traits magnified, spiraling into chaos. Director's Statement: After my dad passed away, I found myself in a religious group searching for answers and a sense of stability. That experience inspired Agonist — a story about how grief can unravel your sense of self, distort your reality, and make you vulnerable to people in power who promise meaning and healing. Grief is a universal part of being human, and I’m drawn to horror because it’s one of the most powerful ways to explore those darker emotional extremes in a raw, visceral, and unfiltered way.
