I have been trying to think of a good way to practice striking the ball out of the centre of the vertical axis on a putter and this is what ive come up with so far for my sausage putter . This almost resembles a spoiler putter face concept where the face is designed to be hit like your using a wedge so that the point on the face is striking the centre of the golf ball which should give the best strike . With this I wasn't seeing as little room for error as I would like. If I was hitting a bit too high on the ball it was still coming off alright which isn't what I was hoping for so I will be going back to the drawing board to see if I can come up with something a bit more drastic . It does give you a good visual however and helps you to concentrate on hitting the ball in the right location
