Despite the dirty water, the man got in. He was pretty certain it was a puppy. When they shined a flashlight into the dark hole, they were able to spot a puppy. For over 30 minutes, the puppy stayed unmoving. They were worried whether the puppy was stuck but the puppy must have been considering whether they were safe people to spend the rest of his life with. He finally made up his mind and came out. He licked the man's fingers as a form of greeting and they took him home. Their daughter is very happy to see him. This must be a cool experience for her. The puppy was covered in fleas. So they had to put him inside the box for a while. As the water level rises, the puppy would certainly die. Thankfully, they found him just in time. They will keep him and raise him alongside their daughter. Although the puppy spent the first few weeks of his life thinking no one loved him, he will spend the rest of his life knowing the opposite.
