FULL RIDE [4K 60FPS] Welcome foolish mortals … 👻 During my last visit to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in June 2025, something amazing happened while riding The Haunted Mansion. The attraction came to a stop right in front of one of the best and most beloved scenes in the entire ride, The Grand Hall, also known as the Ballroom Scene. Now, for most guests, this is the moment that glides by in seconds, a quick glimpse of dancing ghosts, a ghostly organist, and a long table full of spectral party guests. But during this rare stop, I had the chance to truly take it all in. You’ll see every flickering candle, floating spirit, and hidden illusions This scene remains one of Imagineering’s greatest achievements, using the iconic Pepper’s Ghost illusion to make transparent spirits appear to waltz, duel, and drift around the Grand Hall in perfect harmony with the organ’s haunting rendition of Grim Grinning Ghosts. It’s pure Disney magic that’s been amazing guests since the Mansion first opened in 1971 at Magic Kingdom. After more than 30 years of riding The Haunted Mansion, this was the first time I’ve ever been able to experience the Ballroom at a complete standstill and I noticed details I’d never seen before. From the lighting shifts to subtle background effects, it reminded me why this ride remains one of the greatest dark rides ever created.
