Ali Sadr Cave, the largest and longest water cave in the world, is located in the village of Ali Sadr in Hamedan Province. The cave’s age is estimated to be between 136 and 190 million years, dating back to the Mesozoic Era. The first professional exploration of the cave was carried out in 1963.
