Najib to appeal dismissal of house arrest bid

Datuk Seri Najib Razak will file an appeal against the Kuala Lumpur High Court's dismissal of his judicial review in an attempt to serve the remainder of his jail term in the RM42mil SRC International Sdn Bhd case under house arrest. Shortly after Justice Alice Loke delivered her decision on Monday (Dec 22), Najib's lead counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah stood up and informed the court of the applicant's intention to appeal.
