Description
Two House Finches visited my backyard bird feeder to eat sunflower seeds from the feeder. The male and female Finches were hopping around looking for yummy-looking sunflower seeds. The female Finch was making a variety of chirping sounds as she flapped her wings. This could be a mating call.
I set up a camera to record footage of birds visiting my backyard and landing on my platform feeder. This camera provides a close-up view of the birds as they feed, along with the various sounds and calls they make while perched on the bird feeder. I refill the bird feeders and add extra seeds to the platform when they become empty or low. I usually feed wild birds a mix of sunflower seeds and other birdseed options. Most birds in my backyard seem comfortable and take their time enjoying their food. Although the birds vary in size from large to small, most of them share the seeds.
